Here’s exactly what happens between “I’m in” and a campaign’s total going up.

  1. You choose an amount

    Your limit depends on how much of your account you’ve verified.

  2. You pay our payment partner

    With Mobile Money or card, on the provider’s own checkout.

  3. The provider confirms it

    We check the amount and currency against your contribution.

  4. Then it counts

    You get a receipt and the founder is notified.

  • Pending payments never count. A campaign’s total only includes confirmed contributions.
  • Mismatches are held. If an amount doesn’t match, it’s set aside for our finance team to investigate.
  • Refunds need two people. A second member of the finance team approves every refund.
  • Documents stay private. ID and business records are never on public links.

Backing a campaign is not an investment and pays no financial return. Sowithme doesn’t guarantee that a campaign reaches its target, that a business succeeds or that rewards are delivered. Read the risk disclosure
